I’m back again with a Flagyl question

So I posted a few days ago about taking Flagyl vaginal gel for BV, or something along those lines. I took my last dose two nights ago and still had that kind of…crazy, clumpy discharge with no odor that apparently is really common with Flagyl. I wasn’t sure if it was from the medication or if it was a yeast infection, so I popped a garlic clove in last night as I’ve been unable to find boric acid anywhere. Today in the shower I kind of dug around and tried to get some of the goopy stuff out. Again, odorless (smelled more like garlic than anything), but definitely “cottage cheese” like. And, because I can’t leave myself alone, I put a tiny bit of yogurt up there (I read the ingredients first. No sugar). Hallo everyone, 22, female, 125lbs, in a monogamous relationship. I got a Paragard inserted in February and use a menstrual cup. So Friday morning I noticed what looked like a yeast infection starting, which I haven’t had in years. I figured it was a mix of my period ending and going kind of crazy on sweets and carbs lately. I had also had sex Thursday night and afterwords I was incredibly sore and couldn’t even get my cup back in it was so swollen 🙁 We didn’t have particularly rough sex and it didn’t hurt while we were doing it. I made an appointment at Planned Parenthood for Friday morning because I was still pretty sore and swollen, along with being itchy, bloaty, and having very minor pelvic cramping. Pad Reccomendations

Hi all! I am looking for a new brand of pads. I am open to using non-disposable pads, but would still like to use disposable pads at least part of the time. Since I started getting periods 16 years ago I have used Always pads, as I really like their thinness. However as I got older, I started developing some skin allergies/sensitivities. I tried switching to the new Always Infinity pads, but unfortunately am still experiencing some skin irritation/itchiness. I prefer using pads, as tampons/cups/products worn internally are uncomfortable for me. Additionally, I have a Paragard IUD which makes my flow somewhat heavy. Any brand recommendations for someone who is prone to skin sensitivities? I also am unfortunately very prone to YI’s and BV and any product that may not worsen this is definitely preferred. Also, I know nothing about reusable/cloth pads- can anyone educate me on this? Thank you [...]

Hello vagina loving superstars, can you help me? I’m having awful BV trouble. After yoghurt, garlic and cider vinegar failed, I took my salad dressing vagina to the dr. I was prescribed 5 days of 400mg of Metronizadole x 3 per day but I struggled to take more than 2 a day because it made me so sick. One day off the pills and the BV is back. The Dr has given me 0.75% Metrogel. He didn’t say how long for, and there are no instructions but ‘apply twice daily’. Lots of websites say it should come with an applicator, mine hasn’t. The leaflet is all about Roseacea – has he given me the wrong stuff? Any tips about keeping it away are welcome. I had no problems until a partner 2 years ago and it’s never been right since. Feeling self conscious about odour associated with BV

Last week I noticed that I started to get some vaginal irritation. It’s nothing really new for me. I suffer from Lichen Sclerosus. I didn’t have any other symptoms at the time, so I just ignored it. Usually my irritation from that condition comes and goes, so I forgot about it. After about three or four days, it started to get worse. I was having discomfort with sex and while urinating. Still I ignored it. Probably wasn’t the best idea. Now, a week later its gotten horribly worse. Yesterday I spent all day at an Urgent Care centre waiting to see a doctor. Hi everyone,I recently got tested at my local clinic and it was abit of a fiasco if I'm honest.Anyway to cut a long story short, I finally got my results today and I tested negative forHIV, syphilis, gonorrhea and chlamydia. The clinic I went to wasn't very thorough. They made you do your own swab and did not even check you out. Anyhow. My question is, how comes they didn't test for trichomonas?My friend goes to a clinic in London and said they test for pretty much everything.Is it possible to get tested for trichomonas? As I read that sometimes it doesn't show symptoms? I also had unprotected sex 1 week before testing so was told I need to come back for another testing.He withdrew but I know it's still stupid so I will go get tested again soon.(I also know that you need to give at least 6 months right?, Before going to [...]

I posted here awhile ago about yeast infection cures; at first the doctor thought I had BV, but Flagyl didn’t help. Went back, now it “looks like yeast” except two Diflucan don’t help. Go back yesterday, get told “some discharge is normal” (I know this, and I like how what looked like yeast is now normal) even though I feel like it’s irritating. Told to try Aquaphor for two weeks as a “barrier.” I had a swab both times (and a culture the first) that came back negative for yeast. Changed my detergent, etc. I’m so frustrated. My symptoms are a constant burning feeling in my vaginal area, mainly. In the last month, it’s spread back towards my butt.
