My period is 4 days late and I had cramping in the area of my ovaries a few days ago. Everyone once in a while I still get little cramps but they go away. I’ve been incredibly tired and cranky lately, which are typical of PMS for me. I’m 24, have periods that are normally regular, and my fiance had a vasectomy 10 years ago so unless a miracle happened, I’m not pregnant.

I’m completely confused about what the heck this could be. I made an appointment with my APRN, but she can’t see me until May 2nd.

Any ideas what the reasons for this could be? :/

I know this isn’t the point of your post, buuuut I found myself really curious…
Was there a medical reason he got a vasectomy so young, or was he just 100% sure he didn’t want kids at, like, 14?

Haha, I guess it would seem strange without explaining the situation…He’s 8 years older than me and his ex-wife asked him to get a vasectomy after their son was born.

Have you tried taking a pregnancy test anyway? I know it’s unlikely, but I know 2 couples that got pregnant after the male had a vasectomy and was cleared. I know probably not what you wanted to hear 🙁
Other than that, does stress affect you periods? If so, that could be it.

No, I haven’t. Unfortunately I can’t afford one and if I wanted to go to Planned Parenthood I’d have to wait til Monday and the one here doesn’t have the nicest staff anyway.

Nope, never has before and I have a pretty bad anxiety disorder and can stress out easily.

If you have Dollar Tree Stores around, peeonastick.com considers their pregnancy tests to be as good as most of their drugstore cousins, and better than some. Would those be more affordable?

I could definitely afford one of those…if it’s not here by Monday, that’s what I’ll do. Thanks! 🙂

I hope and pray every day that this is me, and I purposely try to make sure to have sex with my guy when I’m ovulating just in case (he has a vasectemy, got one before we met, we want kids together and are exploring VR surgery).

I would be happy to be pregnant, we’d love to be able to have a baby together…I’m just not getting my hopes up because it could be something else for all I know.

I am going to second the test, I have more than 1 friend who has been pregnant after their husband has had a vasectomy.
